Its always nice to do what you can, whenever you can no matter how much money you have or time you have to give. We thought that this page would be good to keep people upto date on the charities we support, with a link or money when we can.

The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation

Any football fan which includes all of us at Red Zoo Internet will have been saddened by the news that Sir Bobby Robson lost a long and courageous battle against cancer. Mark who is part off our team and the owner of Red Zoo Internet is a massive Newcastle fan and someone who idolised and looked up to Sir Bobby Robson, felt quite choked at the news when it broke.

Personally he has been touched and had to deal with quite a difficult childhood in the shadow of cancer and knows first hand just what a horrible disease it is. Sir Bobby Robsons charity work later in his life after he had helped to sculpt English football is unsurpassed and something everyone should all look up to with great admiration. Every penny counts against Cancer and Sir Bobbys Foundation has raised millions, but its still not enough. 

We at Red Zoo Internet will be making donations when its possible for us to do so, and we will also urge clients that we work with to make suitable donations too.

The London Marathon and Mark

Mark was scheduled to run the London Marathon in April 2009, but after sustaining an injury he was told that he could not run and had to postpone his place until April 2010. After months of training (well 4) he got up 17 miles per run, but then he picked up an unjury that was to take months to heal, so he had to pull out. The guys at WCRF were great and decided to let him run in 2010 instead.

He is doing the marathon to raise money for The World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF) and hopes that he can do it in under 4 hours.
