New Magento Hosting Launched

Red Zoo Internet now offers Magento Hosting Solutions to its clients. After vigorous testing and tweaking of the Magento Commerce product from Verian on our servers we decided that an official launch of the product as an offering to our clients both present and new was needed.
Our aim is to provide only our clients and our small business customers with an effiecient Web Application Hosting solution for their Magento Commerce web site.
Oliver @ Red Zoo Internet stated: "We are not aiming at mass coverage of the Magento hosting market because this is not our target market and in the current format our business is in we dont see value in that. We see this service as an add-on to an existing project with our clients, and it is our aim to do this well with a high level of service.
We can fully support the product and ensure smooth and efficient running of the solution because we have a PHP5/Magento Developer in our team."
Magento Commerce is not like most other ecommerce solutions and it does require a finely tuned hosting package, one that our servers by default didnt seem up to. This is often the case for many of the cheap mass hosting providers out on the market. Unless its Magento optimised (which it usually isn't) then you should really try an avoid these kind of plans.
Because Magento Commerce can be quite memory intensive (depending on traffic) we decided that we would launch 3 different types of hosting plan:
- Low traffic "Shared Server Magento Hosting" for lower traffic sites or 150 - 500 visitors per day
- Medium traffic "Semi Dedicated Server Magento Hosting" for sites serving more visitors or 500 - 1000 per day
- High traffic "Dedicated Server Magento Hosting" for sites serving lots of visitors or 1000+ per day
